  • Important Information regarding Customer Login

    Corporate clients
    • Corporate customers need to login with Login Id as <Customer ID> . <User ID>.
    • Beneficiary ids of the registered beneficiaries (for other bank accounts) have been modified. Hence in a bulk file transfer to non-Deutsche Bank account new beneficiary ids are to be used. Eg: If the existing beneficiary id is 000000000013 new beneficiary might be 000000100527. 

    Existing record:

    - For within Deutsche Bank transfer, beneficiary registration is now mandatory.
    - Service request history and pending service requests will not be migrated.

  • Dashboard – One page banking – What are Widgets and contextual actions?

    • The Dashboard is the first landing page for the new db OnlineBanking application and provides a one page banking solution for you. You can get a snapshot view of your financial relationship with Deutsche Bank and make your payments from this page itself without further navigation. Widgets are individual sections which gives you access to specific functions or views. There are 6 mandatory widgets in the Dashboard. The mandatory widgets are – 

    - Consolidated Summary (relationship level view)
    - Account Summary (relationship level view)
    - Quick Pay (for bill-payment and NEFT / RTGS)
    - My Transactions (Calendar view displaying all transactions initiated on net-banking)
    - Transaction Shortcuts (In case of due bills / upcoming scheduled payments / pending approvals for corporate users etc.)
    - Messages (Inbox, sent messages)

    Contextual actions refer to the 3 dots function which help you to get faster access to related actions pertaining to a particular record. For example in case of the savings account record in the accounts summary widget, the 3 dots facilitates you to request for a cheque book or initiate transfers to your own account or to a third party account directly from there.

    You can further personalize the Dashboard view by adding more widgets. Simply click on the “Personalize” link on the “Dashboard”. There are 6 additional widgets that you can choose from including -
    - Investment Accounts
    - Loan Accounts
    - Recent Transactions
    - Notifications
    - Mail Alerts
    - Manage Future Payments

  • What is Quick payment? – Quick transfers and Quick bill payments

    • You can now initiate your bill payments or NEFT / RTGS from the dashboard through the Quick payment widget. This widget has 2 tabs. The first one is “Quick Bill-payment” where in you can make an instant payment to the registered billers by simply selecting the payee, inputting the amount and the transaction password plus OTP.
    • Similarly, the second tab is for “Quick transfers” where you can make an instant payment to the registered beneficiary by just selecting the beneficiary, inputting the amount and the transaction password plus OTP.

  • What information do I get through the Calendar view of My transactions widget?

    • Through the “My transactions” widget, you can get a date wise view of all the online transactions done in the past or the transactions scheduled in the future. You can get the detailed information of the transaction by clicking on the hyperlink of that transaction on the right side panel next to the calendar.

  • How is the “Transaction Shortcuts” widget useful?

    • The “Transaction Shortcuts” provides you a view of -

    - Scheduled transactions pending for processing
    - Failed transactions, if any Bills due for payment and
    - Pending approvals for corporate users.

  • Can I personalize my dashboard?

    • You can personalize the dashboard view by adding more widgets. You can do so by clicking on the “Personalize” link on the “Dashboard”. There are 6 additional widgets that the customer can choose from which includes -

    - Investment Accounts
    - Loan Accounts
    - Recent Transactions
    - Notifications
    - Mail Alerts
    - Manage Future Payments.

  • How can I generate and download an Account Statement online?

    • To generate an Account statement you need to click on the accounts tab, and then on the accounts summary link, you can click on the 3 dots contextual action to generate the transaction history. Further, you can use the search function to generate statement for the required period. You can download this statement in 3 formats - .pdf, .docx and .xlsx. Please note that the maximum period for generating the statement at a time is 180 days.

  • How do I make my transfers now?

    • You now have multiple options to make transfer / payments both within Deutsche Bank and to other banks. You can initiate NEFT / RTGS from the Dashboard itself through the Quick payment widget. Or access the “Transactions” tab and click on the Initiate NEFT / RTGS payment.
    • You can also initiate a self account transfer or third party transfer from the Dashboard itself through the “Account summary” widget by clicking on the 3 dots.

  • How do I make a third party transfer within Deutsche Bank?

    • In the new db Onlinebanking application you will have to make a one time registration of the third party beneficiary within Deutsche Bank by going to the “Transaction” tab and clicking on the “Add beneficiaries” link. Here you will need to select the option within Deutsche Bank to proceed with the registration process for a third party beneficiary registration.
    • Once the registration is completed, simply click on the third party beneficiary and choose from the registered beneficiary in the drop down to make the payment.

  • How do I use the “Multiple Payment” feature?

    • The new “Multiple Payment” feature in the “Transaction” tab is very useful feature which enables you to make up to 30 payments in one go with only a single transaction password and OTP. You can make any type of payment including NEFT, RTGS, self account transfer, within Deutsche Bank third party transfer and bill payment in this option.

  • How does the transaction template work?

    • In case you have a regular payment to make but the payments dates vary, you can simply create a template for the said transaction through the “Manage Template” link available on the “Transactions” tab. Once the template is setup, all you have to do is select the template from the “initiate payments” link under the “Transactions” tab and make the payment by inputting the transaction password and OTP. The template can be modified, copied and deleted.

  • How do I add my picture onto the profile?

    • You can add your profile picture in the personal settings. You can do so by simply clicking on to the profile settings drop down next to the photo section on the top right section of the screen.

  • Can I customize my user id?

    • Yes, you can now even personalize your user id from the customer id to any user id of your choice by changing the same in the profile settings option in the change password section. Here you need to input your preferred user id in the update channel id link. (this facility is available only for individual users and not corporate users).
