You can transfer funds online to both Deutsche Bank and Non-Deutsche Bank accounts in over 250 cities across India. You have the convenience of choosing from three types of fund transfer options available to you:

• Self Account Transfer: Instant transfer of funds to any of your self accounts with Deutsche Bank.
• Third Party Transfer: Instant transfer of funds to an account of another person with Deutsche Bank.
• Transfer funds outside Deutsche Bank using RTGS and NEFT facilities to bank accounts maintained with other banks.

Easy steps to do external funds transfer are:-

• Select 'Transfer Funds' after logging in to db OnlineBanking.
• Register a payee / beneficiary account by providing the bank, city, branch or search by IFS code.
• Enter beneficiary details like Payee Name, Account Number, select 'Account Type' as Savings, Current, Credit, Loan, NRE, NRO or Cash Credit.
• Specify maximum fund transfer limit as per your choice. You can also choose not to specify fund transfer limit as this field is not mandatory.
• Reconfirm account number with transaction password.
• Enter the OTP (One Time Password) which you will receive on your registered mobile and submit the request.
• Once the payee is registered, you can click on the 'Registered Payees' page and select 'Make Payment'.
• Depending on the branch selected and transfer amount, the system will automatically give you the option of either NEFT / RTGS or both.

You have the option to initiate the fund transfer instantly or schedule the fund transfer on a later date. You can transfer only up to Rs. 50,000 till the cooling period which is 2 hours from the time of addition of beneficiary. You can also schedule repetitive periodic payments with one single instruction. You can also search and download the details of beneficiaries that are already registered earlier.

What's more you can also track RBI reference numbers under past payments within NEFT / RTGS link in db OnlineBanking. The reference number denotes confirmation that the payment has been sent. In case your beneficiary needs to track the credit into their account, they can use the same number as a reference with their banks.

Repetitive Payments

Set Repetitive Payment one time to make payments at regular intervals without logging in to db OnlineBanking. You can set up Repetitive Payment for below payments and more:

• House rent
• School or college fees
• Loan EMIs
• Money transfer to family members

Steps to set-up Repetitive Payments are:

• Select the Repetitive Payment option while transferring funds online.
• Input the start date of the payment.
• Select the frequency of the payment (Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly).
• Input the number of payments you want to make and click on submit.

Example: If a weekly (frequency) funds transfer of Rs. 500 is set up on Saturday (25th July, 2009) Saturday as the start day and 5 as the number of payments, then Rs. 500 will be transferred to the beneficiary account every Saturday for the next 5 Saturdays starting 25th of July, 2009.

You can transfer funds to a Deutsche Bank account online from any other bank that offers NEFT / RTGS facility. All you need to do is follow three simple steps:

• Select Deutsche Bank from the list of banks.
• Select the city / branch and provide the IFS code. Click here to view the IFS code for Deutsche Bank branches.
• Provide the Deutsche Bank account number.

Please note:

• The IFS code is mentioned on each cheque leaf of your cheque book. Cheque books printed after June 2010 will have the latest IFS codes.
• Choosing a wrong IFS code will result in delay or cancellation of your fund transfer.
• If you are a non-resident Indian, fund transfer facility applies to you as well. Funds can be transferred from an
  NRE account to another NRE / NRO / Resident account. Similarly, funds can be transferred from an NRO account to another NRO / Resident account. However, this facility is not available for transfer of funds from resident accounts to NRE / NRO accounts.

• You can now process your international transfers from the comfort of your office / home without having to submit papers at our branch counters. 
• The remittance will be processed subject to the bank being satisfied with the bonafide of the transaction and the supporting documents submitted, if any. The bank reserves the right to reject the transaction without assigning any reasons for such a rejection. 
• Transfers can be initiated between 8 am to 11 pm; bank shall process the request for FOREX transactions within 2 working days from the date of receipt of the request by the Bank from the customer. This timeline shall be applicable post completion of scrutiny of the documentation submitted by the customer.
• The client needs to ensure that the account is sufficiently funded from the time of submitting the request to the bank till the bank processes the transaction. Non availability of sufficient funds at any time during this period could lead to a rejection of the transaction by the bank.
• The transaction will be processed as per our card rates updated on this website (https://forms.deutschebank.co.in/DBForms/private/ViewRates)  unless we have confirmed a specific rate for your transaction. 
• Upload supporting documents on our db OnlineBanking portal along with the payment request. 
• Transact in up to 20 different currencies for any non-business transactions. 
• In an instance that the bank cannot process the transaction due to any reason, not limited to but including insufficient balance or discrepant documents, this can be viewed under the ‘My Request’ option which will reflect the current status of the transaction.
  

You can now block the existing debit card from the app. Select the card and the reason for block.

• Debit Card will be blocked immediately
• Card once blocked cannot be activated again
• Only active cards will be available for blocking

You can now request for a reissue of the existing debit card. Select the card and the reason for reissue. The existing debit card will be reissued and physically sent to you with updated expiry date and CVV.

• New debit will be delivered to your communication address updated in our records within seven working days
• Your existing card will be blocked once you activate your new debit card

You can now enable / disable transaction channels and edit limits for domestic or international* transactions, ATM withdrawals and POS, Ecommerce and contactless transactions as per your requirement.

You can now request new Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the existing debit card from the app. New debit card pin will be delivered to your communication address in 3 working days

ONLINE SUBMISSION OF FORM 15G/H

We have simplified and digitalised the process of submitting Form 15G/H for your convenience. Now you can submit all required documents from the safety and comfort of your home and avoid the hassle of visiting the bank.

A brief introduction to Forms 15G and 15H:

Form 15G and Form 15H are self-declaration forms that an individual submits to the bank to ensure that Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is not deducted on interest income when their income is below the basic exemption limit.

Which of the two forms to submit:

Non-senior citizens can submit Form 15G whereas senior citizens can submit Form 15H in order to save tax amounts from being deducted from the interest income of their Fixed and Recurring Deposits.

The benefits of submitting Form 15G/H:

Here’s how you can benefit from submitting the form if your total annual income is lower than the exempted slab in income tax:
If you fill form 15G/H, TDS will not be debited and you can save excess tax payment (if any).
But if you do not fill form 15G/H, TDS will be debited and you will need to apply for refund (if any).

When to upload the forms:

Make sure to upload your form once every financial year for your Fixed Deposit.
A Permanent Account Number (PAN) is mandatory for the customer to get the tax deducted through Form 15G/H.

Steps to submit the form online:

• Log in to db OnlineBanking with your User ID and Password
• Select ‘General Services’ and then ‘Deposit Accounts’
• Click on Form 15G/H
• Fill in the necessary details and authorise for final submission
  

Log in to db OnlineBanking and submit your form now.

You can now redeem Loyalty points from db OnlineBanking. Please refer to below details for online redemption.

• Login to db OnlineBanking, go to Quick links on the right hand side of Dashboard and click on Loyalty Point Redemption
• Minimum 400 points required for online redemption

You can now modify the daily Online Banking transaction limit yourself (increase upto Rs. 30 lakhs, decrease to Rs. 2 lakhs).

• Login to db OnlineBanking, go to Transactions tab and click on Modify Transaction Limit under Personalise Limits sub-menu
• New limit is updated real time in Online Banking and you can utilise the new limit immediately

Now you can download your account statements at any time. For your convenience we have made your statements available for download in PDF.

How to download:

• Login to db OnlineBanking with your customer ID and password
• Select the account number
• Choose the period, select "Save as PDF" from the drop down option and submit your request.
